Jesus said He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. We know He's in the ending of the Bible, The New Testament; as you can find His name all through it. But though His name is not in the beginning, the Old Testament, is He there? Some religions say He was just a good teacher. Jews don't think He's the Messiah because he didn't come bringing a sword to release them from bondage. On the contrary, He brought the Sword of the Spirit to release them from spiritual bondage. Is Jesus who He says He is? Yes! The Old Testament is full of prophecies concerning the coming of Jesus. Compare the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah with the prophecies either implied in the New Testament of fulfilled by Jesus.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Acts 3:22-23
For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Psalms 8:4-6
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
Hebrews 2:6-8
But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
